The City will once again be enlivened by the vibrant sights and sounds of musicians, dancers, singers and hundreds of ordinary festival-goers who love to join in the fun of celebrating this traditional Vedic street parade also known as Ratha Yatra.
Please come dressed in your most colourful attire and come and experience the unique opportunity of pulling a rope which drives a 20-metre high traditional Indian chariot, which will be carrying the Deity forms of Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladeva and Lady Subhadra. It is said that by participating in this festival together we can bring about peace, harmony and bliss for our own lives and for our beautiful City.
